“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.” – Matt.25:35

Dinner at Lydia House

Dinner at Lydia House

We started in 1992 as an Interdenominational Christian Ministry for some of the thousands of job seekers who continually flood into Bangkok. We are registered with the Evangelical Fellowship of Thailand but are not under any parent organisation.

We offer free shelter and dinner to job-seekers besides sharing God’s truth daily. Converts are taught Christian disciplines through our follow up program. Worship services are conducted on Sunday evenings.

In our Skill Development Program, suitable jobseekers are sent for ten weeks of training at a government centre where they acquire skills that enable them to find jobs. Lydia House pays for their food, transportation and training expenses. During these 10 weeks, they live free in Lydia House and also study the Bible regularly.

PRAY:

-  that jobseekers will find stable jobs, develop disciplined lifestyles, become Christians and deepen their walk with Christ.

DONATIONS:
