Children lead normal happy lives

Too many children are still becoming affected by AIDS in one way or another. The children are rarely treated properly, in either the medical or the social sense. Ban Pak Ping started on 17 March 2003 with the aim of helping children affected by AIDS. We want to give them better conditions and to help their families to earn extra income so that they can live normal lives and be accepted by society.

Target groups

·       Children infected with HIV and those who are not infected with HIV but have parents who suffer or have died from AIDS.

·       Infected people and pregnant women.

·       Mothers and family members who take care of the affected children

Objectives

1. To be a shelter for children of infected parents.

2. To help children who are affected by AIDS, but are not themselves infected with HIV, in all aspects of their lives: to influence family, school and society to accept them.

3. To generate extra jobs for parents and direct caregivers.

4. To help hospitals and the government to look after infected children who have been abandoned.

5. To look for families who are willing and able to accept and adopt children who are affected by AIDS but are not themselves infected with HIV.

Ban Pak Ping aims to help children physically, mentally and spiritually throughout their entire lives. You can help in several ways
